Although we missed this bit of wonderful news over last weekend, we still thought it worthy of sharing:
Los Angeles Writers Group believes that all great writers should be voracious readers, and with the disappearance of many local bookstores, supporting our local libraries is a must. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said, “By reopening our libraries on Sundays, we reopen the doors of opportunity for thousands of children and families who look to their local library as a place of learning, safety and community.”
We agree, plus we think Los Angeles Public Libraries are really lovely getaways for writers to satisfy their creative calling to write.
