This 8-week
advanced poetry writers group / poetry workshop. Check

places, dates, and locations. We usually meet on a weekday
evening and sometimes on Saturdays, for 2-1/2 to 3 hours per meeting.
Our meeting locations vary from session to session.
Meeting Location and Group Size
The Advanced Poetry Writers Group is a creative writing workshop that
concentrates on preparing poetry for submission. The group is a small, intimate groups of
poets that range anywhere from 5 to 12 people in a group. We hold
all our groups in private
residences, and to protect the privacy of our moderators, we do not post
their addresses on our site. After you sign up, we will send you
an e-mail with the exact group location.
How the Advanced
Poetry Writers Group / Workshop Works
This group is a group that specifically concentrates on preparing poems for
submission. Sometimes we will do creative writing exercises to help
create new poems and stretch those poetic muscles. This is a safe environment to
read your work and to get critical feedback and critique from your fellow
group members and the moderator on any work in progress you choose to bring
in.
Our Writers Group Moderators
This
group is moderated by a professional writer with credentials and experience
in publishing, writing, and giving professional critique on poetry. We screen and pay
our moderators
and only hire those who have the kind of supportive passion and experience
that our groups need.
Who can join, i.e. what type of writers?
This
group is open to poets. All poets must submit work in order to join
the group. It doesn't matter if you'e been published or not, only that
you are of a certain level in your poetic writing. Once we screen your
writing samples, we will email you to let you know if you have qualified
with a link to pay for the group. We encourage you to apply even if
you think you may not be qualified. Don't underestimate yourself!
