A few updates for y’all. Happy Holidays to everyone.
First-Draft Incubator – New 2019 Session
Did you know that if you got a book deal today, your book
Because the 2018 session of the First-Draft Incubator was so successful — 11 writers completed drafts of their books — I’m opening a new session for 2019. I only include 15 people in the First-Draft Incubator because of the amount of editing work it generates for me, so if you want support in 2019, now is the time to do it to guarantee your spot. Also, if you join by this Tuesday, you can join us online at 5:30 p.m. for our next speaker, a freelance editor who will be talking about what she does and how the Publishing Industry works.
The First-Draft Incubator allows you to receive private and group coaching to help you finish your book in 2019. We meet online twice a month, where I teach certain aspects of scene writing, structure, and character development. Sometimes I have guest speakers (past speakers have included working editors, short story experts, publishing experts, essay experts, and more), and sometimes I am coaching and talking about motivation and helping members find new ways to stay productive and continue producing pages.
You also get weekly 30-minute coaching sessions that include editing up to 10 pages per session, and discounts on private coaching if you want more intensive help, as well as a 20% discount on workshops.
FDI is a GREAT deal for such intensive and personal ongoing support, and best of all, you can cancel your membership at any time.
