PEN/Fusion Emerging Writers Prize for Global Nonfiction

We are currently accepting submissions for our new PEN/Fusion Emerging Writers Prize which will recognize a promising young writer under the age of 35 for an unpublished work of nonfiction that addresses a global and/or multicultural issue. Eligible applicants will have the chance to have their work read by distinguished writers John Freeman, Roxane Gay, and Cristina Henríquez. The winner will receive a $10,000 cash prize and be honored at our 2015 PEN Awards Ceremony this summer.
