Challenge Yourself to Write Every Day for 15 Days

15-Day Writing Challenge

We challenge you to write every day for 15 days.

We’re excited to announce our brand new 15-Day Writing Challenge. I designed this challenge after finding myself so immersed in reading other people’s stories (which I love to do!) that I avoided my own creative writing.  I didn’t feel inspired, so I wasn’t getting any writing done.  I sat down and tried to figure out what would make me fall back in love with my own writing process and prose.

This program is the result.

I built this challenge for people who feel stuck or who aren’t as productive as they’d like to be. When we fall out of the habit of writing, we sometimes wait for inspiration to sprinkle down like fairy dust. But inspiration is more like romance than weather: you can create it.  Inspiration does not sit outside of you, bestowing its gifts upon writers at random.  Instead, inspiration is an endless well that lives inside you, a well that you can draw from any time you choose.  This challenge will help you recognize, tap into, and practice drawing from that well.

To start, all you need is a dedicated notebook or journal and to reserve thirty minutes to an hour per day for the writing prompts and coaching steps. This commitment to yourself, to write for 30 or more minutes per day for 15 days, will gently steer you back into an everyday writing habit. And it will provide you with the tools to deal with the days when you don’t feel like writing.

What is it?

This 15-day email-based writing challenge incorporates daily writing prompts, coaching steps, and an online community to reignite your passion for writing.

Who can join?

All writers anywhere are welcome.  Even if you’ve always thought about writing but never have, you can participate!

What will you write about?

This challenge is not focused on any one genre. Instead it is focused on creativity and self-discovery.  No matter what you like to write, you can join this challenge.  Topics covered during the 15 days:

  • Why You Write
  • Your Sacred Space
  • Thinking Outside The Paragraph
  • Source Material
  • Compassionate Goal Setting

How much time will I need to commit?

The challenge requires at least 1/2 hour per day for 15 days.
