LAwritersgroup.com is owned by Nicole Criona and was founded by Nicole Criona and Sanora Bartels.  We started our first writers group in 2003 and since then we had writers ask us to be in our groups.  At first, we started a waiting list but we found that our group members stayed session after session.  In order to accommodate the writers who wanted to join our group, we started creating new groups, and this is how we became what we are today.

 

Over the years we've offered several kinds of groups, our staple and beloved 8-Week General Writers Groups which we always offer, as well as a Group for Advanced Writers, One-Day Intensive Writing Seminars, a Screenwriting Specific Group, and Groups specifically for poets.
